Bringing community together
to support mental health in
Kojonup and surrounds.

Kojonup is a small farming community in the Great Southern. Like all regional towns, mental health challenges and loss have deeply touched many families here.

The Rose Ball aims to bring people together, celebrate who we are and open conversations that might otherwise not happen.

Funds raised will support local, grass-roots initiatives.

Your donation and ticket will help:

  • Support SPARK (Suicide Prevention Around Regional Kojonup) to deliver local events, provide educational resources and make support easier to access.

  • Assist the Kojonup District High School chaplaincy with essentials for students, including uniforms, hygiene products and school supplies.

  • Establish a 'Coffee & Connection' account at our local Country Kitchen cafe, giving local seniors the opportunity to enjoy coffee and catch ups without cost being a barrier.

  • Provide practical mental health training for the people who regularly travel from farm to farm (livestock agents, agronomists, vets and truck drivers),who are often among the first to notice when someone may be struggling.

Every donation and ticket purchase, will help provide practical support and strengthen the wellbeing of our community.

The money raised stays in our town, supporting our community.

Strictly 18+; photo ID required.

Every dollar raised will go back to the community

All funds raised from the Rose Ball will be put back into our community.

A significant portion of funds will be donated to SPARK Kojonup (our local community group focusing on suicide prevention, mental health awareness and community support), helping to facilitate local events, provide educational resources and strengthen visibility to people in Kojonup and surrounds.

Mental health training will be funded for people who regularly travel from farm to farm, as they are the ones who are often the first to notice when someone may be struggling. This training will provide support to agricultural service providers such as livestock agents, agronomists, veterinarians and truck drivers, with practical skills to pick up on cues and provide pathways to support those who may be in need, as well as protecting their own mental health.

Support will be provided to our local high school chaplaincy, assisting students with essentials such as uniforms, hygiene products and school supplies.

A portion of the funds raised will support a ‘Coffee & Connection’ account at Country Kitchen, helping local seniors enjoy coffee and cake with friends without financial barriers. It’s a small way to support their wellbeing and give back to the generations who helped shape Kojonup.
